Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance do I need to place my order? 

We highly recommend placing your grazing table and picnic in as far in advance from your date as possible. 

Being one of Newcastle's leading events caterer we do book our quite quickly especially in peak season (Sep-March). If you want to avoid missing out on a selected date, we recommend booking 3 months in advance. 

Grazing boxes however you can leave right up until 3 days prior to your event.

How much is delivery?

Delivery fees depend on the location that the order is being delivered to. We do have very cheap fees.

Can I customise my graze? 

Oh Hell yes you can!! This is your experience and we want you to be IN LOVE with your graze! You have a favourite food.. we will put it in, you have a favourite cheese stockists in another state I will fly there myself just to make your experience with us the best it possibly can be!

What happens if the recipient is not home?

We will give the recipient a call to see how far they are from home. If they won't be home for a while, we will take the order back to our store and they can collect from the shop front within 24 hours.

What happens if it rains on my event day?

Unfortunately we can't refund or cancel your event due to poor weather. We ask that you organise a back up location plan before your event date. 

We also recommend organising an extremely hot Summer day plan. Not many people want to be sitting outside in the boiling heat on a 40 degree Summer Day!

Do you cater for dietary requirements

Absolutely! We can cater for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, nut free, low gluten etc!! Be sure to let us know if there is an allergy or dietary requirement we should be aware of.

How do I place an order? 

Head to our online ordering section via our website, choose the graze you wish and follow the steps. 

To place a picnic or grazing table order, email us at sweetdelightspicnics@outlook.com and we will start placing the order for you when we have all the required info.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Please be ensure to read our T & C document thoroughly before placing an order with us. We do not refund for change of mind, bad weather or last minute cancellation, however we can offer a store credit or postponement

How soon do I need to give you final numbers?

Exactly two weeks prior to your event we must have numbers and payments 100% finalised.

Can we hire the set up overnight? 

Set ups can be hired over night, but we do ask for notice so we don't hire the equipment out for other events. A $100 fee will be added on for overnight hire. 

​

Do you provide drinks and or alcohol?

No we are BYO only and provide no drinks with any service.
